Nasarawa United will be hoping to put their disappointing opening-day result behind them when they host Bendel Insurance in a Match Day 2 fixture of the 2026/2027 EuroMatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Sunday in Lafia.

The Solid Miners started the new campaign on the wrong footing, suffering a 3-1 defeat to newly promoted Barau FC in Kano.

They now have an immediate opportunity to respond, with home advantage offering the Lafia-based side a platform to claim their first points of the season.
