2025 President Federation Cup: We’re Ready for War Against Abakaliki FC – Says Kwara United’s Alalade

Kwara United forward, Wasiu Alalade, has declared that the team is fully prepared for the historic President Federation Cup final against Abakaliki FC, scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the MJ Arena in Lagos.

Alalade, who is currently the highest goal scorer in this year’s competition, expressed his confidence after a light training session at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. He affirmed the team's determination to make history and bring pride to the state.

“We are in Lagos to make history and make our supporters proud,” Alalade stated, assuring football-loving Kwarans of the team’s commitment to securing victory.

He also dismissed rumours about his absence from the squad, confirming his full presence and focus on the final.

Saturday’s training session was supervised by Head Coach Tunde Sanni, who noted that all players are fit and focused, and ready to “fire on all cylinders” in the much-anticipated clash.
