As Kwara United prepare for a historic showdown against Abakaliki FC in the final of the 2025 President Federation Cup, Chairman of Offa FC, Alhaji Azeez Omoluabi, has pledged full support for the Harmony Boys.
Omoluabi expressed unwavering confidence in the team’s ability to make both their fans and the entire state proud.
“My total support is for Kwara United,” he declared. “I will be live in Lagos for the match, and I have arranged transportation for myself and my colleagues who will be attending.”
He added, “We pray and believe that Kwara United will defeat Abakaliki FC and bring the trophy home to Kwara State for the first time in history.”
Calling on football enthusiasts, family members, supporters, and fans across the state, Omoluabi urged a strong turnout for the final match to show solidarity with the team.
“Let’s show our boys that we believe in them. Let’s paint the stadium in the colors of Kwara United and cheer them on to victory,” he said.
Omoluabi extended his gratitude to the sports-loving Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his tremendous investment in the club. He also offered prayers for continued success and strength for the Governor.
He further appreciated the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji; the FA Chairman, Mallam Idris Musa Thuraya; the Director of Sports at the Kwara State Sports Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Bako; sports writers; the Kwara United supporters' club; and all fans for their steadfast commitment and encouragement.
The much-anticipated final is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 28, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
