The semi-final matches of this yearβs President Federation Cup (menβs version) will take place on Wednesday in Lagos and Abuja. Former champions Enugu Rangers will face Kwara United of Ilorin, while emerging force Ikorodu City will battle surprise package Abakaliki FC in Abuja.
The clash between NPFL teams Rangers and Kwara United will be held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, while Ikorodu City and Abakaliki FC will face off at the Bwari Stadium in Abuja. Both matches will kick off at 4 p.m.
To reach this stage, Rangers eliminated former champions Kano Pillars in the Round of 64, followed by victories over Heartland FC, Bendel Insurance, and Plateau United in subsequent rounds.
On their part, Kwara United dispatched Cynosure of Ebonyi State in the Round of 64, and then overcame Gombe United, Solution FC, and Akwa United in the following rounds.
Abakaliki FC defeated Yobe Desert Stars in the Round of 64 and went on to beat Katsina United, Enyimba FC, and Nasarawa United in subsequent rounds. Ikorodu City edged Sunshine Stars U19 team on penalties in the Round of 64 and followed up with wins over Crown FC, Beyond Limits FC, and Wikki Tourists to book their place in the semi-finals.
