Coach Sanni emphasized his team's confidence and readiness for the final match, set to take place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
“We are not Ikorodu City. Ask them what we did to them in both Lagos and Ilorin — they will tell you,” he responded when asked about Abakaliki’s semi-final win over Ikorodu.
“We are not underrating Abakaliki FC, but we’re also not afraid. We’ll settle everything on the pitch in 90 minutes,” he added.
Coach Sanni made it clear that his team is motivated and battle-ready to make history.
Also featured during the media engagement was in-form striker Wasiu Alalade, who assured fans that there is no pressure in the camp.
“We will approach the match with focus and seriousness, but without panic. The aim is to make our supporters proud,” he stated confidently.
Both Coach Sanni and Wasiu Alalade were warmly received by the station’s General Manager, who presented them with souvenirs as a token of appreciation for their visit.
