2025 NLO: SEAMORIOW FC appoints Coach Gold Busayo as new Head Coach

Lagos-based Nationwide League One (NLO) side, Seamoriow Football Club, has officially announced the appointment of Coach Gold Busayo as the new Head Coach of the senior team ahead of the upcoming 2025/2026 New Year Mega Lottery Nationwide League One season.


The club made the announcement via its official Instagram handle, stating, "We are proud to officially announce Coach Gold Busayo as the new Head Coach of Seamoriow FC’s senior team. Coach Gold brings a wealth of experience, a deep passion for the game, and a football philosophy that aligns perfectly with our club’s long-term vision."


Known for his tactical discipline and talent development skills, Coach Busayo is expected to bring fresh energy to the club’s ambitions.


Speaking on his new role, Coach Gold expressed his excitement and commitment to the journey ahead:


“We’re building something special here. I’m honored to be part of this journey, and I’m ready to give everything to move this team forward.”


Coach Gold Busayo holds an Advanced Coaching Certificate in Football from the National Institute for Sports, Lagos.


He recently stepped down from his role as Assistant Coach of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Sunshine Stars of Akure.


His impressive coaching résumé includes stints as Head Coach of RAWGOLD Soccer Academy and Assistant Coach at Remo Stars FC. Notably, he was part of the Remo Stars coaching crew that finished as 1st Runner-Up in the 2022/2023 NPFL season and secured a historic qualification for the CAF Champions League.


He also led RAWGOLD Soccer Academy to a 1st Runner-Up finish in the 2024 Ondo State Bet9ja League.


SEAMORIOW FC expressed full confidence in Coach Gold’s ability to lead the team to success in the coming season, emphasizing that his leadership marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the club.
