The zonal playoffs, held across four centres—Bwari (FCT), Jos (Plateau State), Gumel (Jigawa State), and Kaduna—saw fierce competition among aspiring clubs.
At the Bwari Centre, Mai Kunkele United clinched promotion by narrowly edging out House of Prayer FA on goal difference. Both teams finished with 7 points (two wins and a draw), but Mai Kunkele’s superior goal difference gave them the edge. Zeal Minds FC and Na Royal FC finished third and fourth respectively.
In Jos, Warinje FC emerged unbeaten, recording two wins and a draw in their three games to top the group and book their NNL ticket.
At the Gumel Centre, Kano Ambassadors FC showcased dominance, winning all three of their matches. They scored seven goals and conceded only two, finishing with a perfect 9 points. JNR Danburan FC, Clever Warriors, and Discovery Academy failed to match their intensity.
In Kaduna, City FC of Abuja claimed the sole qualification spot from the ABS Centre. They outclassed Vet Rovers FC, CAMPRO FC, and FWC FC to top the group and secure promotion.
With this outcome, all four promoted teams will now prepare for the challenges of competing in the second-tier Nigerian National League in the 2025/2026 season.
