2025 NLO: Ekiti United FC opponent withdraws

Ekiti United FC's next opponent in the ongoing 2025 Nigeria Nationwide League One, Able God FC, has withdrawn from the competition as it progresses.


According to a source within Ekiti United FC's camp, the team has been in good shape, and the players are in high spirits.


Although some players have been dealing with minor injuries and malaria, the team's medical staff has been working tirelessly to ensure the players are fit for upcoming matches. There is no cause for concern.


However, Ekiti United FC's scheduled match against Able God FC has been canceled due to Able God FC's withdrawal from the competition.


Meanwhile, other group opponents will be playing another round of matches today, giving Ekiti United FC a well-deserved rest.


The next match for Ekiti United FC is now scheduled for Tuesday afternoon against Choice FC International.


Officials stated that the match time would be communicated in due course.


Additionally, following complaints from other teams about the cost of living in Ijebu Ode, the league organizers have adjusted the fixtures. Instead of the usual two-day rest period between matches, teams will now have a one-day rest period, with matches played on consecutive days.
