2025 NLO: ABS FC of Ilorin beats Offa FC

ABS Ilorin FC secured a 2-0 victory over Offa FC in the matchday six fixture of the 2025 Nationwide League One (NLO), played on Wednesday morning at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl, George Innih Stadium, Ilorin, Kwara State.


Second-half goals from Johnson Akintola in the 57th minute and Ayo Ebi in the 63rd minute handed the Saraki Boys their first win of the ongoing New Year Mega Lottery Nationwide League One 2025 season.


After a challenging start with three draws and two defeats, the team displayed hunger and determination to secure the win. Akintola and Ebi's second-half goals earned the team their first three points of the season, lifting them off the bottom of the table.


The team's head coach, Benjamin Adieze, expressed satisfaction with the performance. “I'm pleased with the team's effort and determination, but we can't afford to be complacent. We have more work to do and crucial matches ahead. Let's keep pushing forward and stay focused,” he said.


They will face Dohz FC next.
