2025/26 Season: Enyimba International FC Announces Official Resumption

Nine-time Nigerian league champions and two-time CAF Champions League winners, Enyimba International FC, have officially announced the resumption of activities ahead of the 2025/2026 football season.

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has confirmed August 22, 2025, as the kick-off date for the upcoming season. In line with this, Enyimba FC management has scheduled the team's official resumption for today.

In a statement issued to Enyimba Media by the club’s Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, all registered players, both returning and newly signed, are expected to report for duty without fail.

“All players are to make themselves available, and all club personnel concerned with this exercise are also advised to adhere accordingly,” Ekwueme stated.

Training and other resumption activities will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, as the club sets the tone for what it hopes will be another competitive campaign.
