2025/26 NPFL: Bayelsa United Set to Resume Preseason June 28

Bayelsa United have confirmed their resumption date ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Prosperity Boys will begin preparations for the new campaign on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

This was disclosed by club official, Tarila Okorowanta, who stated that the technical crew will use the resumption period to assess the squad and make critical decisions on player retention and new acquisitions.

"The team is currently on break and will reconvene on June 28 to begin preparations for the 2025/2026 season," Okorowanta said.

"It is when the team regroups that the technical crew will determine those to be retained and those to be recruited, based on the team’s requirements."

Bayelsa United will be aiming to build on their performance from last season as they gear up for the highly anticipated NPFL26 campaign.
