Ekiti United FC has officially announced the resumption of players and officials ahead of the second stanza of the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The club’s management has instructed all players and staff to report on Monday, January 26, by 7:00 a.m. at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti.
League organizers have confirmed that the second stanza of the NNL campaign will begin on February 14. Ekiti United FC is scheduled to host First Bank FC at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium on February 15, marking the club’s opening fixture of the second round.
Ekiti United FC concluded the first stanza of the season in fourth place on the league table with a total of 15 points. The team is optimistic about earning more points in the second stanza as they push for promotion at the end of the season.
Team Secretary B. S. Idowu emphasized the need for players and staff to put in greater effort during the upcoming phase of the campaign. He highlighted the team’s determination to justify the continued support of the Ekiti State Government, through the Technical Advisor to the Governor on Sports Development, Olusola Osetoba, and to repay the trust of the people of Ekiti State, as well as the club’s fans and supporters worldwide, by achieving promotion at the end of the season.
