Fatai Osho, Technical Adviser of Crown FC, has reacted to his side’s hard-fought draw, offering a balanced assessment of the team’s performance.

The experienced tactician acknowledged a costly goalkeeping error but emphasized collective responsibility, resilience, and the need for encouragement rather than blame.

He also reaffirmed the club’s promotion ambitions, stressing that one result will not derail their focus as they continue their campaign.

“It was a painful moment for our goalkeeper. He had a wonderful game, but that brief lapse in concentration led to the mistake.

``These things happen in football and even in life. We must not crucify him. Instead, we need to encourage him because he has done so much for the team.

``We were aiming for all three points; in fact, we believed we deserved more from the game, but we have to accept the one point and move forward.”

“We played against a very well-coached side. You could see the work their coach has put into the team.

``They tried to press high and overload certain areas, especially in the last quarter of the game, forcing us under pressure.

``We attempted to overload as well, but whenever you commit numbers forward and lose possession in those areas, you leave yourself exposed in transition. That hurt us a few times.

Our transitions in the first half were excellent, sharp, and purposeful, but our finishing let us down. That’s something we must continue to work on.”

“Our supporters are marvelous. They always stand by us and encourage us to express ourselves, whether at home or away.

``We need that energy, and we believe we can only get better as we go into the weekend looking to secure maximum points.”
