2024 NLO1 Match Day 2: Omoku center on fire as Sporting bounce back, Sunsel, Apex share spoils

Sporting FC hit Jet Bomber 5-0 in a furious manner, rekindling their contest after a 4-1 loss in the opening game against Chimoski FC.


The NLO1 Omoku Center saw a significant shift in the Match Day 2 table as leaders Chimoski FC lost 0-1 to De Sapele Lions, giving way to Ereme Jackson FC as the new group leader with a 3-0 defeat of Wilbros FC.


Sunsel FC now finds itself at the bottom of the table after a 1-1 draw against Apex Krane FC, who just played their first game.


All clubs will observe Tuesday as a rest day, with more action resuming on Wednesday 24th. Table-toppers Ereme Jackson FC, with 6 points, will battle second-placed De Sapele Lions FC, with 4 points, at 10am.


Apex Krane FC and Wilbros FC, each with 1 point, will struggle to keep their momentum, while Sunsel FC will seek their first win after two games against Khana FC.


Chimoski FC will hope to take advantage against the struggling side Jet Bombers FC to wrap up matchday 3 at the Krisdera Hotel Stadium, Omoku, River State.
