2024/25 NNL Season: Solution FC Concludes Campaign, Begins Off-Season Break

Posted : 19 June 2025

Solution Football Club of Anambra State has concluded its 2024/25 Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign and embarked on a season-long off-season break.

Chairman of the club, Chief Chukwuma Ezeamama, praised the players, technical crew, and management team for their commitment, cooperation, and team spirit throughout the season.

Although the club did not secure a playoff spot for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), which was their initial goal. Chief Ezeamama expressed gratitude for an injury-free and well-coordinated campaign. He also thanked the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for supporting the team and providing a platform to compete in Nigeria’s second-tier league.

Chief Ezeamama stated:

"On behalf of the Chairman of the Anambra State Sports Development Commission, I wish to thank the players, technical crew, and management team for their dedication and team spirit during the just-concluded 2024/25 NNL season.

“While we didn’t achieve our dream of making the playoffs and fighting for promotion to the top tier, finishing 5th on the table is a significant improvement from last season and our maiden campaign, where we fought to retain our NNL status.

“It is our collective resolve that next season we will aim higher. We’ve learned our lessons and are determined to improve on this year’s performance."

He further appreciated the support of the state government and extended safe travel wishes to all members of the club:

"I thank the State Government under the leadership of Governor Soludo for their unwavering support. I wish everyone safe travels back to their respective bases. Stay safe and keep fit in anticipation of the 2025/26 NNL season."

Solution FC finished 5th in the Southern Conference Group B with 29 points from 20 league matches. The club also reached the Round of 16 of the 2025 President Federation Cup, defeating NPFL side Lobi Stars and Eagles Stars FC before bowing out to eventual finalists Kwara United.
