Nasarawa Amazons and Remo Stars Ladies have dominated the Best XI of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership season following the conclusion of the Super Six playoffs in Ikenne.
The standout team, unveiled after the tournament, features four players from Nasarawa Amazons, three from Remo Stars Ladies, two from Bayelsa Queens, and one each from Edo Queens and Rivers Angels.
Remo Stars Ladies’ Charlotte Adjei was named the top goalkeeper, while her teammates Ibrahim Hannah and forward Bolaji Olamide also made the cut.
Best XI
Nasarawa Amazons, who impressed throughout the competition, saw defenders Jumoke Alani and Matthias Josephine, midfielder Joy Igbokwe, and playmaker Janet Akekeromowei earn their spots in the team.
Bayelsa Queens had defender Blessing Abiola and midfielder Mary Aderemi included, while Kafayat Mafisere of Edo Queens and Rivers Angels’ striker Mary Moses completed the all-star selection.
The Best XI honors players who delivered outstanding individual performances and played key roles in their teams’ campaigns during the regular season and highly competitive season-ending tournament.
