The 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, have mapped out plans to organize a champions’ parade.
A statement by the club said that a massive celebration is on the horizon, with a champions’ parade planned through key towns in Remo land after clinching a historic league title – the club's first top-flight championship.
The parade will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025, beginning at 9 a.m., as thousands of fans are expected to line the route to celebrate this landmark achievement in Nigerian football.
According to the club, the victory route is designed to touch the heart of Remo communities, starting from Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, Aiyepe Junction, Gateway International Stadium in Sagamu, Isale Oko, Ita Oba, Ijoku Road, Akarigbo Palace, Remo Secondary School, Sagamu/Iperu Road, Iperu/Ilishan Road, Ilishan Roundabout, Obafemi Awolowo Avenue, and ending at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.
The statement further urged fans to plan ahead, arrive early, and line the entire route to create an unforgettable atmosphere for the players, technical team, and supporters, adding that local security agencies will be on the ground to maintain a peaceful and celebratory environment.
