Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Kwara United FC of Ilorin, has bolstered its squad with five new signings as the second half of the 2024/25 NPFL season continues.
This comes as the team is also set to miss the services of its star striker, Emmanuel Ogbole, who has joined the Libyan club Olympic Azzaweya.
The new recruits include midfielders Omotayo Yusuf and Ozor Philip, center-back Abiodun Adebayo, and forwards Wasiu Jimoh and Ojifinni Abdullahi.
The club's General Manager, Mallam Bashir Badawiy, expressed confidence in the new signings, stating that they have adapted well and will positively impact the team.
Kwara United currently sits 12th in the NPFL table with 26 points from 20 matches. They are set to face El-Kanemi Warriors this evening at 5:30 PM in Ilorin.
