The management of Plateau United has given its Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, and the technical team a three-match ultimatum.
This comes after the Peace Boys struggled and ended the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 22 in a draw against the visiting Oluyole Warriors.
According to the club's Director of Media Operations, Yaksat Maklek, "The decision followed the culmination of a high-powered meeting involving the club's General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla, and management staff on Monday, February 3, in Jos, after a string of disappointing results."
Mutla stated, "It is hoped that this decision will bring the necessary intensity to improve the club's fortunes and satisfy a result-hungry fan base."
He added that the decision followed a careful examination of key issues leading to the poor performance thus far.
Plateau United will face Niger Tornadoes of Minna, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, and Ikorodu City of Lagos in the next three NPFL 2025 matches.
