2024/2025 NNL Season: Wikki Tourists fortify club with new signings

In order to push for qualification for the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) play-offs and the subsequent chase for a promotion ticket to the elite league, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi announced the signing of new players on Sunday to strengthen the team’s quality.


The Baby Elephants are currently competing in the second-tier league in Conference C, hoping to secure one of the two tickets for the NNL Super 8.


"Wikki Tourists FC is excited to announce the signing of three new players ahead of the second half of the 2025 NNL campaign. The club has secured the services of:


Edward Lawrence, a modern-day center-back from Plateau United.


Mohammed Cheik Camara, a talented striker from Plateau United.


Simeon Habila Sulai, a promising midfielder, joining us from Golden Boot Soccer Academy and a true local talent.


These new additions are expected to add strength and depth to our squad as we push for promotion back to the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) and aim for a successful Federation Cup campaign in 2025.


The new signings are already training with the team and are in contention to feature in our Federation Cup round of 64 game against Edel FC in Abuja.


We welcome Edward, Mohammed, and Simeon to the Wikki Tourists family and look forward to their contributions in this crucial phase of the season.
