Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin Football Club secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Sporting Lagos FC in their Nigeria National League (NNL) Matchday 15 encounter at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbow George Innih Stadium in Ilorin, Kwara State.
After a goalless first half, ABS Ilorin FC’s persistence paid off when substitute Boluwatife Ajina scored the decisive goal in added time. Ajina tapped in a pass from Ayoku Abdulraman, sending the Ilorin fans into wild celebrations.
The win marked a much-needed return to winning ways for ABS Ilorin FC, who had gone without a victory in their last three games.
