2023/2024 NPFL Match Day 26: Shooting Stars still in line to play continental ticket, says Ogunbote

The head coach of Shooting Stars, Gbenga Ogunbote, is focused on securing a continental ticket at the end of the season.


Goals from Christian Pyagbara earned the Oluyole Warriors a comfortable 2-0 win over Remo Stars in Ibadan.


During a post-match reaction, Ogunbote insisted that he never doubted the team's ability to secure continental football next season.


"When we were down to 13th in the table, I said we were still on course, and then we had 19 games, and now we have 12 games.


"Anything can happen; all we know is that it is achievable to get the continental ticket," he stated.
