The Acting Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes, Majin Mohammad, is hopeful of a good result against visiting Kano Pillars for the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 15.
Mohammad, now in the saddle on an interim basis, wants to impress the management of Ikon Allah Boys to cement his position on a permanent basis.
However, Mohammad said that he would go for the kill and ensure maximum points against Kano Pillars.
The Ikon Allah Boys, under the tutelage of the Acting Technical Adviser, picked up a valuable away point against neighbors Kwara United and are looking to build on the momentum going into the tie against Sai Masu Gida.
Addressing the players during the team's training session, Mohammed urged them to put behind the result achieved in Ilorin and build on the momentum.
He said that only by picking up maximum points against Kano Pillars would the away point be valuable.
It will be an interesting duel between Kano Pillars' Ibrahim Abubakar (Babawo Pele) and Joshua Enaholo of Niger Tornadoes, who are pitched against their former employers, having previously featured for this week's opponents.
The Ikon Allah Boys must also be wary of five-goal hero Yusuf Abdullahi and veteran striker Rabiu Ali.
Kano Pillars will not come to Kaduna as onlookers, as they are also poised to target at least a point in the northern derby.
Niger Tornadoes win.
