2023/2024 NPFL Match Day 11: Enyimba Int'l FC seeks redemption against Sunshine Stars FC

With an unfortunate loss against troublesome Remo Stars FC in the rescheduled Match Day 5 of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Enyimba International FC of Aba will fancy redemption against visiting Sunshine Stars of Akure for the Match Day 11 fixtures.

The nine-time league champions, Peoples Elephant, will have another opportunity to redeem their battered image when the Akure Gunners, who secured a slim 1-0 victory over Sporting Lagos FC, visit the Enyimba International FC stadium in Aba.

It was Enyimba’s former player, Samad Kadiri, who scored the winning goal for Remo Stars in that encounter, which means that coach Finidi George must tighten his belt if he hopes to get something from this game.

Sunshine Stars have, in the past, produced some remarkable results away from home, playing a 1-1 draw against Rivers United. Finidi will be hoping that the duo of Joseph Atule and Chijioke Mbaoma deliver the goals, and Edith Agoye will also aim to get Michael Olalusi back on the scorer's sheet.
