Riot Games Unveils 2026 VCT Season Capsule Ahead of Masters Santiago

Riot Games has confirmed the upcoming release of the 2026 VCT Season Capsule, set to launch on February 19 at 7 PM GMT. The capsule will include an exclusive melee skin called the VCT Sigil, which comes in five variations: one representing the overall VCT and four themed for each International League.

The knife also features unique animations and a special Champions Aura that activates for the top-performing player in each match.

In addition to the VCT Sigil, the Season Capsule will offer regional player cards designed to showcase fans’ support for their favorite regions, as well as the VCT 2026 Flex, inspired by the Kickoff trophy.

 Riot Games emphasized that all items are designed to reflect the excitement of competing on the global stage, combining animated visuals with reactive in-game effects.

While the official price has not been released, it is expected to follow the 2025 pricing model at 5,850 VP. Revenue from the capsule will be shared equally among all professional teams, allowing players to support their favorite organizations.

However, the items will only be available for a limited time and will not return once removed from the in-game store, including through the Night Market or daily rotations.

The announcement comes ahead of the first major international VCT event of the year, VALORANT Masters Santiago, scheduled from February 18 to March 15. Twelve teams will compete in a Swiss Stage followed by Playoffs to crown the year’s first global champion.

Opening matchups include Gentle Mates vs. EDward Gaming, T1 vs. Team Liquid, G2 Esports vs. Paper Rex, and Xi Lai Gaming vs. NRG Esports. Fans can attend in person via tickets from Punto Ticket or watch the matches live on VCT’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
