Riot Games has offered fans an early glimpse of VALORANT Agent 30 through its cinematic trailer for Masters Santiago 2026. In the trailer, agents Clove and Killjoy are shown tracking an unidentified agent, with coordinates pointing to Zagreb, Croatia, sparking speculation that the upcoming agent could hail from the Croatian capital.
Additional hints in the trailer include a device resembling a stim beacon that appears when the barrier in front of the agents opens. While Riot Games has not confirmed any details, the device could be linked to one of Agent 30’s potential abilities. Similarly, the Masters Santiago trophy, unveiled on February 18th, was themed around the new agent, though it did not reveal any concrete information about their skills or role.
Although Riot Games has not officially announced Agent 30, industry patterns suggest that the reveal could occur during the Masters Santiago Grand Final on March 15th. Fans also anticipate that the agent will be available in-game around March 18th, coinciding with the launch of Season 26 Act 1, which will bring a new battle pass, skin line, and additional content.
Speculation about Agent 30’s role is ongoing. Since 2024, Riot Games has introduced two Sentinels, one Duelist, and one Initiator, leading some to theorize that Agent 30 could take on the role of a Controller. However, this remains unconfirmed and should be treated as conjecture.
Meanwhile, the Masters Santiago 2026 tournament is set to feature high-stakes matches on its opening day. EDward Gaming, winners of the 2024 VALORANT Champions Korea, will face Gentle Mates on February 28th, while 2025 Champions Paris winners NRG will take on China’s Xi Lai Gaming. Both matches will be played in a best-of-three format and streamed live on the VALORANT Champions Tour Twitch and YouTube channels.
