Ring Magazine has announced its first-ever boxing event in collaboration with SNK Games, the developers of Fatal Fury. The event, titled Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on April 26th and will feature a middleweight showdown between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.
This marks a major milestone for Ring Magazine, which has been covering boxing since 1922, as it partners with UK-based sporting event promoters Matchroom and Boxxer to organize the highly anticipated fight night.
The collaboration comes as SNK Games prepares to release Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on April 24th, the franchise’s first new installment in 26 years. Fans who pre-order the game starting April 21st will receive priority access to tickets for the boxing event, bridging the gap between traditional combat sports and the fighting game community.
Meanwhile, Fatal Fury has also been confirmed as an official title for the 2025 Esports World Cup, joining other top fighting games such as Street Fighter 6 in the Saudi Arabian government-backed esports festival.
In addition to Eubank Jr vs. Benn, the event will feature an exciting lineup of fights, including a heavyweight clash between Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur. Former world champion Liam Smith will face rising prospect Aaron McKenna, while cruiserweight titleholder Chris Billam-Smith takes on Brandon Glanton.
Another high-profile cruiserweight bout will see undefeated fighters Viddal Riley and Cheavon Clarke go head-to-head, rounding out what promises to be a thrilling night of boxing action.
