PUBG Esports has unveiled the 10 teams participating in the 2024 PUBG Esports Global Partner Team program, featuring eight returning organizations from the previous year and two newcomers. The teams, including CERBERUS Esports and Daytrade Gaming, will make their first major tournament appearance at the PUBG Global Series 2024 Phase 3 in May 2024.
CERBERUS Esports, a Vietnamese organization committed to homegrown talent, has been involved in PUBG Esports since 2019 and recently achieved success in regional competitions.
Daytrade Gaming, a Thai organization that joined PUBG Esports in 2019, has secured victories in regional tournaments and a notable 13th place at the PUBG Global Championship 2023.
Krafton, the South Korean video game publisher, selected the 10 partner teams based on extensive criteria, prioritizing Fandom. CERBERUS Esports and Daytrade Gaming were chosen for their passionate fanbases dedicated to the esport.
These two teams join the eight previously named Global Partner Teams, which include 17Gaming, FaZe CLAN, Four Angry Men, Gen.G, NAVI, Petrichor Road, Soniqs, and Twisted Minds. The Phase 3 LAN event of the PUBG Global Series 2024 will feature the 10 partner teams along with the top 14 teams from the Phase 1 leagues.
Notably, the expansion to 10 Global Partner Teams is a significant change from the previous year's eight, reflecting a broader representation across regions.
