MOUZ and Team Spirit have secured the first spots in the ESL Pro League Season 23 playoffs after winning three matches during the tournament’s second online stage. Both teams will join six others at Stockholm’s Annexet to compete for the championship.
MOUZ continued its streak of consistency, marking its third playoff appearance of 2026, with standout performances from Jimi ‘Jimpphat’ Salo and Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi helping the team overcome HEROIC and Astralis in closely contested matches.
Their victories included dominant wins on Mirage and Overpass, showcasing precise attacking and defensive strategies, and a strong 2-0 sweep against The MongolZ secured their place in the playoffs.
Team Spirit also advanced after a strong ESL Pro League campaign, seeking to build on a third-place finish at IEM Krakow 2026. Led by Danil ‘donk’ Kryskhovets, the team quickly defeated 3DMAX and B8 before facing G2 Esports. Team Spirit claimed a 13-9 win on Ancient and followed up with a narrow 13-10 victory on Anubis, with Dmitry ‘sh1ro’ Sokolov delivering key early pistol rounds. These results ensured Team Spirit’s playoff spot alongside MOUZ.
