The slot distribution for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) SEA Champions Tour 2026 has been officially announced, outlining a 12‑team field drawn from leagues across Southeast Asia and beyond.
Under the new system, hosts Thailand’s MSL will contribute two teams, while single slots are allocated to leagues such as Myanmar’s MSL, Singapore’s MPL, Cambodia’s MPL, Vietnam’s VMC, and Malaysia’s MAL.
Additionally, qualifiers from Laos, Brunei, and Timor‑Leste will make their first appearances, marking a major shift toward inclusivity for emerging MLBB regions.
Organisers say the revised format creates unprecedented opportunities for Tier‑2 teams — including those from lesser‑represented national leagues — to compete on a bigger stage and earn a place at the M8 World Championship.
The top two teams from the SEA Champions Tour will secure direct entry into the M8 Main Stage, while the next two will advance to the Wildcard round, keeping championship hopes alive for a wider range of competitors.
