European esports organization G2 Esports has revealed a partnership with Asian gambling company M88 Mansion, designating it as the official betting partner for G2's Counter-Strike and Dota 2 teams. The collaboration aims to promote the M88 brand through various activations, watch parties, and competitions featuring G2 Esports.
In a separate announcement, G2 also disclosed a Rocket League-focused partnership with grassroots esports platform Stride, contributing to all levels of Rocket League esports from amateur to professional. The Stride collaboration encompasses in-game car decals, jersey placements, and joint branding across social media channels for both G2 Rocket League and Stride.
M88 Mansion, an online gambling and betting site based in the Philippines, is replacing Counter-Strike skin gambling and trading platform CSGORoll as G2 Esports' gambling-related partner. While G2 partnered with CSGORoll in May 2023, community criticism led to its apparent removal by August 2023. The M88 Mansion collaboration follows the site's partnerships with Vietnamese organization 335CauGlay and Talon Esports in 2023 and 2022, respectively.
These partnerships align with G2 Esports' strategic expansion beyond Europe, including a recent foray into China and Dota 2 through a partnership with Chinese esports organization Invictus Gaming. Furthermore, G2 has entered a strategic partnership with Version1's ownership group to acquire a North American franchise team in the Call of Duty League. The organization's partnership portfolio now comprises over 16 collaborators, including major brands such as Mastercard, Ralph Lauren, and Jägermeister.
