Warren Confirms Fury vs Joshua Is Signed as Las Vegas Emerges as Frontrunner Venue

Posted : 22 June 2026

Promoter Frank Warren has confirmed that an upcoming meeting will finalize the details for Tyson Fury's clash against Anthony Joshua. The highly anticipated all-British heavyweight showdown is targeted for the end of November 2026. Both former world champions have signed agreements to ensure the spectacular bout takes place.

Intense speculation surrounds the venue for this historic matchup. Recent reports indicate that Las Vegas has emerged as the frontrunner to host the massive event. Warren explicitly expressed his preference for a United Kingdom location; however, he acknowledged that American cities remain under consideration.

Promotional control has caused significant debate between the rival camps. Fury recently teased a major announcement involving UFC president Dana White and Zuffa Boxing. Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, has firmly dismissed these claims; he states that Joshua's contract explicitly bars Zuffa Boxing from any promotional role.

The entire event is funded by Saudi Arabian powerhouse Turki Alalshikh. Warren cleared up confusion regarding his ongoing role in managing Fury's career. He confirmed that Queensberry Promotions will continue to guide the heavyweight alongside Alalshikh's influential team.

Broadcast arrangements are also shifting the traditional boxing landscape. The mega-fight is widely expected to stream globally on Netflix. This global streaming deal complicates traditional television rights; however, the financial backing ensures the event will proceed seamlessly.

Both fighters must win separate interim bouts before their winter collision. Joshua is scheduled to make his ring return against Kristian Prenga on July 25, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This bout marks Joshua's first appearance since a tragic car accident late last year.

Prenga enters the ring with an impressive record of twenty victories, with all of his wins coming by knockout. Joshua remains fully focused on this dangerous hurdle; however, he recognizes the immense reward waiting beyond it. The two-time champion has invited Fury to watch the fight from ringside.

Fury is also mapping out his own competitive path for the summer season. He previously ended a short retirement by securing a victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov in April. The lineal champion revealed he is targeting an additional warm-up fight this coming August.

The heavyweights previously shared ringside pleasantries during Fury's April appearance. Joshua hopes to replicate that iconic moment by welcoming his rival into the ring in Riyadh. Winning these interim contests remains the final condition to unlock their historic November undisputed battle.

British boxing fans continue to demand that the fight happen at Wembley Stadium. The financial backers will make the ultimate determination regarding the venue very soon. Boxing enthusiasts worldwide are eagerly awaiting the formal announcement of the official location.
