‘Hitman’ Vows to Knock Out ‘Gentle Boy’ at Street Rumble 2 in Ajegunle

Posted : 09 October 2026

The headline points to a potentially exciting boxing contest between fighters known as ‘Hitman’ and ‘Gentle Boy’ at Street Rumble 2 in Ajegunle, Lagos.

‘Hitman’ has reportedly vowed to defeat his opponent, setting the stage for a contest expected to attract attention from boxing fans in the community. The event's street-boxing theme also highlights the role of grassroots competitions in providing platforms for local fighters to showcase their abilities.

Ajegunle has a strong association with grassroots sports and entertainment in Lagos. Community boxing events can offer emerging fighters opportunities to build their reputations, develop their skills and attract wider recognition.

However, the supplied material does not include the fighters' full names, their previous records, the scheduled date or the weight category for the contest. It also does not provide direct quotations beyond the headline's description of ‘Hitman's’ challenge.

These details are important for establishing the background to the rivalry and assessing the significance of the bout. Information about the organisers, other scheduled fights and the rules governing the contest would also help provide a fuller report.

The event's outcome could prove significant for both fighters, particularly if either competitor is seeking to establish a stronger reputation in Lagos' grassroots boxing scene.

Further verified information is needed before reporting additional claims about the fighters' preparations, previous meetings or expectations for the event.
