No fewer than 10 professional boxers have officially signed contracts to participate in the event, reaffirming their commitment to one of the country’s biggest boxing showcases. The festival will feature five exciting bouts, including a World Boxing Federation (WBF) light heavyweight title fight and a national super bantamweight title contest.
Among the confirmed fighters are Tobiloba “Smiling Assassin” Ijomoni, Sadiq “Happy Boy” Adeleke, Durotimi “Tiny” Agboola, Ezekiel “Touch” Seun, Faruk Taofeek, and Segun “Odi” Gbobaniyi, who will battle for honour and supremacy in the ring.
According to Bamidele Johnson, Chief Operating Officer of Flykite Productions, the contract-signing ceremony reflects the organization’s dedication to professionalism and transparency in Nigerian boxing.
“We are maintaining the standards that have made GOtv Boxing Night the country’s most consistent and respected boxing platform,” Johnson said.
He added that this year’s edition—tagged “Jam Festival”—will combine boxing, music, and comedy, creating a vibrant entertainment experience for fans while expanding the sport’s reach to a wider audience.
Since its debut in 2014, GOtv Boxing Night has hosted 33 editions, providing a platform for emerging and established Nigerian fighters while airing live across Africa. The 2025 Jam Festival promises to close the year in grand style, blending sports, music, and culture in one unforgettable event.
