Team Oyo Boys and Girls Qualify for Final

Oyo State representatives continue to shine at the Milo Western Conference Secondary School Basketball Championship, as both the boys’ and girls’ teams qualify for the final.

 

In the boys’ category, God’s Blessing Comprehensive College, Ibadan, secured a hard-fought victory against their Ondo State counterparts. Coach Kolapo Aminu’s tutored lads triumphed over their tough opponents with a final score of 29–26.

 

The state representatives in the girls’ category, Onireke High School, Ibadan, also qualified for the final. The Oyo girls lost to their Lagos opponents but secured passage to the final following the disqualification of the Lagos team for fielding unregistered players.

 

The final games of the championship will be held today, Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, with God’s Blessing Comprehensive College battling their counterparts from Lagos, while Onireke High School will face their opponents from Osun State.
