Despite the loss, Anthony Edwards stood out for the Timberwolves, contributing 32 points, six assists, and nine rebounds.
Minnesota will look to bounce back as they host the third game of the best-of-seven series on Sunday at their home arena, Target Center. The Timberwolves have been strong at home this season, losing only one of their last ten games there, though Oklahoma has had some success in recent visits.
Timberwolves coach Chris Finch emphasized the importance of learning from the series so far, stating, “Every minute in the series is a chance to find something.” He expressed confidence as the team prepares to return home, analyze the game tape, and gear up for a crucial Game 3 showdown.
