Golden State Warriors triumph despite Draymond Green's ejection; Kevin Durant aids Phoenix Suns over Denver Nuggets

Posted : 28 March 2024

The Golden State Warriors secured a 101-93 win against the Orlando Magic despite Draymond Green's early ejection from the game due to back-to-back technical fouls he received in the first quarter for disputing a foul call on Andrew Wiggins, leaving the team down a player.

Green's ejection occurred less than four minutes into the game, leaving Stephen Curry visibly upset, but the Warriors managed to maintain their focus and secure the victory with Andrew Wiggins scoring 23 points and Curry adding 17, highlighting their resilience and determination.

This marked Green's fourth ejection of the season, underlining his importance to the team, with Curry emphasizing the need to keep him on the floor to ensure the team's success, especially at this crucial point in the season.

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant's impressive performance of 30 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists led the Phoenix Suns to a 104-97 win over the Denver Nuggets, with Nikola Jokic's 22 points not sufficient to prevent another defeat to the Suns, marking Denver's third loss in their past 18 games.

Despite their ejection, the Warriors and Suns managed to secure victories, with the Houston Rockets claiming their 10th consecutive win against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers earning their fifth successive victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Devin Vassell's remarkable 31-point performance propelled the San Antonio Spurs past the Utah Jazz with a score of 118-111, demonstrating the competitive nature of the NBA as teams vie for playoff contention.
