Anthony Davis showcased his prowess with a stellar performance, scoring 32 points in the Los Angeles Lakers' impressive 121-115 victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The highlight was his remarkable second quarter, where he amassed 24 points.


LeBron James, making an emotional return to his former team, contributed 22 points, six rebounds, and six assists. This win adds to James' impressive records, including 1,167 double-digit performances for the Lakers and a total career score of 39,060 points across 21 seasons. The Lakers will now face the Philadelphia 76ers, while the Cavaliers host the Toronto Raptors.


In a memorable comeback, the Utah Jazz secured a 105-100 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Collin Sexton played a crucial role, scoring 16 points, with 10 coming in a dramatic final fourth quarter. Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards faced another setback, enduring their ninth consecutive defeat in a 136-108 loss against the Atlanta Hawks. Trae Young led the Hawks with 26 points and 10 assists, contributing to their improved form after three losses in their previous four games.


The Los Angeles Clippers continued their impressive run with a convincing 107-88 win over the Dallas Mavericks. Paul George stood out with 25 points and nine rebounds, while Terence Mann added 17 points to the Clippers' success.


Joel Embiid delivered a stellar performance for the Philadelphia 76ers, guiding them to a 127-123 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Embiid recorded 35 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists, securing the win with six successful free throws in the final 9.8 seconds. Despite Chet Holmgren's impressive 33-point display, the Thunder suffered their fourth consecutive loss to the 76ers.
