Anthony Davis makes NBA history with 25-25-5-5-3 performance in Lakers' win

Anthony Davis had a historic performance for the Los Angeles Lakers, scoring 27 points and grabbing a season-high 25 rebounds in a 120-109 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Davis also recorded five assists, seven steals, and three blocks, becoming the first NBA player to achieve at least 25 points, 25 rebounds, five assists, five steals, and three blocks in a single game. LeBron James contributed with 29 points as the Lakers secured their second consecutive win, currently sitting ninth in the Western Conference.


In other NBA matchups, the Milwaukee Bucks, second in the Eastern Conference, bounced back from consecutive losses with a 124-117 road win against the Los Angeles Clippers. Damian Lillard led the Bucks with 35 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 34, preventing the Clippers from extending their winning streak to three games.


Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards upset the Miami Heat 110-108, with Kyle Kuzma's impressive performance of 32 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and two blocks. The Wizards secured their second successive win after a franchise-equalling 16-game losing streak, while the Heat suffered their third consecutive loss.


The Philadelphia 76ers halted a three-game losing streak with a 79-73 win against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, led by Kelly Oubre Jr.'s 18 points, 10 rebounds, and three steals. In another game, Cam Thomas, returning after a six-game absence due to an ankle injury, scored 29 points in 31 minutes, guiding the Brooklyn Nets to a 120-101 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Nets closed in on the 10th-placed Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference playoff race, who lost 116-103 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
