With one day left in the 2024 Africa Military Games being held in Abuja, Team Nigeria has maintained a commanding lead on the medals table.
Team Nigeria has accumulated an impressive total of 192 medals, consisting of 90 gold, 56 silver, and 46 bronze medals.

They are followed by Algeria, with 93 medals in second place, and Kenya, with 43 medals in third place.
One of the major highlights for Team Nigeria is the performance of Private Blessing Akpan, who became the country's first gold medallist in the 100m hurdles. She clocked 15.51 seconds to finish ahead of Ghana's Stephanie Abu (15.54 seconds). Another team member, Private Stella Ogu, secured the bronze medal.
