Paris Diamond League: Amusan Clocks Season-Best 12.24s in 100m Hurdles

Nigeria’s Queen of the Track and world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles, Oluwatobiloba Amusan, is gradually returning to top form. At the 2025 Paris Diamond League, she posted a season-best time of 12.24 seconds to finish second in a highly competitive race.

This time marks Amusan’s fastest performance of the year and reinforces her steady climb back to elite form.

Amusan, who still holds the world record of 12.12s set at the 2022 World Championships, was narrowly beaten by Grace Stark of the United States, who won in 12.21s—setting a Meeting Record and a Personal Best. Jamaica’s Ackera Nugent finished third with a time of 12.30s.

Amusan’s 12.24s currently stands as the fourth-fastest time in the world this season, trailing only Masai Russell (12.17s), Tia Jones (12.19s), and Stark (12.21s).
