Diamond League Final: Amusan leads Nigerian trio for Brussels showdown

Nigeria’s quest for honours at the 2026 Diamond League Final will rest on the shoulders of three of its leading athletics stars as Tobi Amusan, Nathaniel Ezekiel and Kayinsola Ajayi prepare to battle the world’s best in Brussels, Belgium.

The two-day season-ending championship is scheduled for Sept. 4 and 5, bringing together the athletes who have distinguished themselves across the Diamond League series.

Amusan will headline Nigeria’s representation, with the accomplished hurdler looking to crown another competitive season with a strong performance against the finest athletes in the world.

Ezekiel and Ajayi will also carry Nigeria’s hopes into the prestigious meeting, with both athletes seeking to make a statement on one of athletics’ biggest international stages.
