2024 NSF: Team Nasarawa scoops more medals

Team Nasarawa has refused to back down at the soon-to-be-concluded 22nd edition of the National Sports Festival taking place in Abeokuta, Ogun State.


The state’s athletes have continued to show resilience and poise, steadily improving their medal haul.


As of Day Twelve of the Festival, the state’s athletes have won a total of sixteen (16) medals, comprising one gold, three silver, and twelve bronze medals, detailed as follows:


Gold:
i. Agada Elijah (Men’s Taekwondo Poomsae Demonstration Event)


Silver:
i. Charles Chiemerie Obayi (Men’s -85kg Kung-Fu Wushu Category)
ii. Titkuromi Christopher (+57kg Men’s Wrestling Event)
iii. Hussaini Ibrahim (Men’s Para Table Tennis Class 6 Standing Event)


Bronze:
i. Ovey Haruna (Men’s -65kg Kung-Fu Wushu Event)
ii. Beauty Timothy (Women’s -52kg Kung-Fu Wushu Category)
iii. Owulama Akolo (Men’s -90kg Kung-Fu Wushu Category)
iv. Sunmisola Popoola (Women’s -48kg Kung-Fu Wushu Event)
v. Laadi Louisa Ihuo (Women’s -53kg Taekwondo Event)
vi. Mildred Monday (Women’s -62kg Taekwondo Event)
vii. Christabel Daniel (Women’s Karate -62kg Category)
viii. Hamza Muntari (Men’s Karate -60kg Category)
ix. Armstrong Allu (Darts – Men’s 300 Singles Category)
x. Muawiya Aliyu (Men’s Para Athletics T45-T47 400 Metres Race)
xi. Madu Daniel (Men’s +100kg Judo Event)
xii. Richard Ebidou (Men’s +70kg Wrestling Event)


Team Nasarawa will be hoping to win more medals before the curtains are drawn on the Sports Festival.
