Qatar offers deal to Nigerian-born midfielder in Arsenal

Arsenal's Nigerian-born midfielder, Tim Akinola, is currently considering an offer from an undisclosed Qatari club just days before the summer transfer window closes.
The Qatari team has directly engaged with Arsenal regarding the possible acquisition of the 2022 Nigeria U23 invitee.
Despite being open to the Qatari opportunity, Akinola's advisors are encouraging him to decline the Middle Eastern offer due to its lack of sporting rationale at this stage of his career.
Akinola's potential move to Neftchi Baku fell through due to complications in negotiating personal terms, and while Colchester United has expressed interest, no significant progress has been made.
As his contract approaches its final year, Akinola's time at Arsenal might be concluding, as the club seeks to move him on.
Being ineligible as an U21 player for Arsenal's Premier League roster submission and not meeting the age criteria for Premier League 2, his future in the club remains uncertain, having not played a single minute this season amid swirling speculations.
