Nigerian winger rejoins 8-time Norwegian champs Viking FK

Norwegian champions Viking FK have officially confirmed the return of Nigerian winger Samuel Adegbenro through their website.
Adegbenro, now owned by Beijing Guoan, has rejoined Viking on loan and successfully completed a medical examination at SR-Bank Arena.
His loan tenure will extend until the season's end. Adegbenro had previously played for Viking from 2015 to 2017, featuring in 75 matches, scoring 17 goals, and contributing twelve assists before transferring to Rosenborg.
His return is marked by his happiness and sentiments of coming home. Adegbenro also highlighted his positive memories and strong connection with Viking, expressing pride in rejoining the club where he began his European career.
Notably, he was the top scorer in the 2021 Allsvenskan season and participated in numerous European competitions during his time at Rosenborg.
Currently, Viking ranks second in the Eliteserien standings with 44 points after nineteen matches.
