Bendel Insurance player sets victory challenge against ASO Chlef in Algeria

As one of Nigeria's representatives, Bendel Insurance of Benin is set for the return acid test against ASO Chlef on Saturday, Aug. 26 at the Stade Mabrouki Salem in Algiers, one of the defender, Sunday Anyanwu is confident of a victory.
The Benin Arsenal will attempt game off the back of a 1-0 win in the first leg at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, via a goal from Imade Osarenkhoe.
Despite precedence which has seen many Nigerian clubs crash out of continental competitions after losing against North African oppositions, Stanley Anyanwu is assured of positive fortunes in Algeria.
Sunday Anyanwu stated that he is “110% sure that” Bendel Insurance “will come out victorious”.

Sharing his thoughts concerning the 2023/24 season and the possibility of wrestling the league title from Enyimba FC, Stanley Anyanwu also maintained his unflinching confidence in the club.

The Center back said: “We are coming out smoking this season with a lot of senior players, we also signed new players, the likes of Kester, Tamara, Obata, Stanley, this season we are coming out smoking, we are going for the cup.”
