Oleksandr Usyk’s Promoter Krassyuk claims obligation to face Fury in undisputed heavyweight title fight

Oleksandr Usyk's promoter, Alexander Krassyuk, asserts that there is an "obligation" for Usyk to square off against Tyson Fury in an undisputed heavyweight title fight. Despite previous talks breaking down, the desire for this historic matchup remains strong. Usyk, the unified champion with WBA (Super), WBO, and IBF titles, is set to defend his belts against Daniel Dubois. Krassyuk emphasizes that not just the boxing community, but the entire world, is eager to witness the heavyweight undisputed fight for all four belts, a first in the era of four belts.
Usyk, who has an undefeated record in 20 professional fights and has previously dethroned Anthony Joshua, expresses his concerns about Fury's upcoming non-title bout against MMA fighter Francis Ngannou. Usyk sees it as potentially detrimental to boxing, as Ngannou has no professional boxing record. Despite his reservations, Usyk respects Fury's choice but views the situation from an athlete's perspective rather than a showmanship angle.
Fury had faced criticism earlier for failing to finalize terms with Usyk for a proposed bout. As a result, Dubois, the WBA (Regular) champion, is stepping up to challenge Usyk for his belt in Poland. Krassyuk assures fans that he is committed to making the Usyk vs. Fury fight happen, recognizing its significance beyond the boxing world.
